MP for Asunafo North to Islamic communities

The member of parliament for Asunafo North constituency Hon. Evans Opoku-Bobie has donates food items etc to most of theIslamic community in his electoral  area.

According to the QURAN 2: 185

“The month of Ramadan is that in which was revealed the Quran; a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the criterion of right and wrong. And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month, and whosoever of you is sick or on a journey, a number of other days.

Allah desires for you ease; He desires not hardship for you; and that you should complete the period, and that you should magnify Allah for having guided you, and that perhaps you may be thankful.”

 

It is very imperative to note that, fasting during the holy month of Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam, which also include prayer and charity. Muslims from all over the world observes this special pillar by abstaining from eating, drinking, engaging in sexual activity from dawn to sunset. Muslims follow the lunar calendar, which means Ramadan arrives several days earlier each year.

The first time member of Parliament for Asunafo North Constituency, Hon. Evans Opoku-Bobie visited the various Islamic communities within his constituency and has donated more than hundred bags of rice, sugar and other items to the Muslims who are observing the holy journey of Ramadan.

The Asunafo north legislator pledged his full support and commitment to the Muslims. He encourage them to keep on praying for mother Ghana and the president of the republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo because there are a lot of policies and programmes to be executed by the Zongo and inner city ministry which would go a long way to benefit the entire Islamic communities.

The Islamic leaders of Goaso, Akrodie, Ayomso, Fawohoyeden etc were so happy for such a kindest donation by Hon. Evans Opoku-Bobie.

They commended and urged him not to stop his benevolent attitude because, the Almighty Allah takes delight in that and he will surely go for another term as MP in the name of Allah.

 

The Islamic leaders stressed. A holy Islamic prayers was recited for the MP and his entaurage. Hon. Bobie gave a hint on the coming of the vice president of the republic of Ghana, H. E. Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia to the land of Ahafo.

 

All things being equal, Dr. Bawumia will come to Ahafo on Sunday. 26th May, 2019. The Muslims dangled into a pool of delirium when they heard this good news from the first ever Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Evans Opoku- Bobie. He was accompanied by the municipal chief executive of Asunafo north, Hon. Yaw Osei Boahen, Asunafo north constituency chairman, regional and some constituency executives.
