King Promise drops tracklist for his “5 Star” Album

Ghanaian afrobeats star, King Promise has shared the tracklist for his forthcoming Album dubbed “5 Star”. The album features a host of popular artists such as Omah Lay, Bisa Kdei, Chance The Rapper, Patoranking among others, and will be available from July 22. Tweeting about the project, he wrote, “Big love & Respect to everyone who spent days & nights working on this with me”. Senior Partner at Twitter, Mistameister also Tweeted about it. #5StarAlbum is the hashtag to follow for comments, reviews and the music when it eventually drops.

Chance The Rapper to host ‘Black Line Festival’ concert in Ghana

American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer Chance The Rapper has Tweeted that he will, together with Vic Mensa, host their first ever concert in Ghana on January 6, 2023. Dubbed the ‘Black Star Line Festival’, the event will draw in some of the “biggest artists in the world” according to the ‘We Go High’ hit maker. The #BlackstarlineFest concert is aimed at bridging the gap between Africans in the diaspora and those on the continent. Let’s wait and see how it all goes down!

Legendary Highlife Musician Amakye Dede records 20 albums

Legendary Highlife artiste, Amakye Dede, has been trending on Twitter after revealing in an interview with Nana Aba Anamoah on GHOne TV that he has recorded 20 albums across his entire career. In a Tweet about the interview, entertainment Page Trends O clock shared a quote from the highlife icon revealing that it took him eight years to write his popular track “Iron Boy”. Ridge City FC secure Women’s Premier League promotion

Ridge City Football Club has qualified for the 2022/23 Women’s Premier League after an impressive run of performances in the 2nd tier league. World Athletics Championship:

Ghana’s Alex Amankwah disqualified Ghanaian Sprinter, Alex Amankwah has sadly been disqualified from the men’s 800m heat at the 2022 World Athletics Championships due to a lane violation. Following the disqualification, media and sports players were quick to react to the sad news on Twitter. George Addo Jnr, sports broadcaster at Joy Sports , Tweeted “ Oh no! Suspected to be a lane violation”. Citi Sports also reported on the news via Twitter.

Arsenal celebrates Ghana’s Eddie Nketiah

Arsenal Football Club has in a Tweet celebrated and praised their striker, Eddie Nketiah after he was named ‘Man of the Match’ in their 3-1 victory over Orlando City SC. This is the club’s fourth straight preseason match that they have won and Football Ghana also Tweeted on how the young forward keeps on impressing ahead of the Premier League’s return.
