Watch Mario Balotelli speak impeccable Twi with friend

Italian football star Mario Balotelli has got many Ghanaians talking after he was spotted confidently speaking Twi, one of Ghana’s most popular local languages.

In a video on social media, Balotelli was seen chatting in Twi with Kofi Filipo, a well-known Twi-speaking Italian personality, while they were in a car, charming Ghanaians with his efforts to connect through the local language.

This is the second time Balotelli, who plays for Adana Demirspor in Turkey, has been spotted speaking the Twi language.

In 2020 Balotelli asked his biological parents to speak Twi on Live TV.

The 30-year-old was with his younger brother live on TV when he phoned his parents.

Despite choosing to play for Italy, the former Manchester City star has never hidden his love for Ghana.
