Ghanaian twin duo Lali X Lola have continued to expand their Fire & Flow concert series with the fourth edition, presenting a more ambitious experience that combines music, dance, storytelling and community.
Dubbed Fire & Flow 4: Kamakazi Edition, the event took place on August 1, 2026, at the Alliance Française Amphitheatre in Accra. The latest edition represented another step in the duo’s efforts to transform Fire & Flow from a regular concert into a broader creative experience.
Since its launch, Fire & Flow has gradually developed into one of Lali X Lola’s major platforms for connecting with audiences. The event combines their Afro-fusion sound with choreography, live performances and other forms of artistic expression.
This year’s Kamakazi theme was designed around the ideas of courage, determination and committing fully to one’s ambitions. The duo described the concept as reflecting their own journey as artists and their willingness to take bigger creative risks.
The fourth edition also benefited from a new partnership with Six Degrees Africa, an event implementation and production company. The collaboration was intended to strengthen the organisation and production of Fire & Flow as the concert continues to grow.
Beyond the music, the organisers sought to create a stronger sense of community around the event. Activities associated with the edition included entertainment, food, drinks, audience engagement and other experiences designed to keep patrons involved beyond the performances.
Lali X Lola have built a distinctive identity around their synchronized performances and energetic stage presence. The identical twins, Patricia Delali Dake (Lali) and Trysha Wolali Dake (Lola), combine music, dance and performance art to create an experience that is different from a conventional concert.
Their rise in Ghana’s entertainment industry has also been accompanied by industry recognition. The duo won Emerging Woman of the Year at the 3Music Awards in 2024 and later received the Telecel Music for Good Award at the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The development of Fire & Flow mirrors that growth. What started as a concert has increasingly become an important part of the duo’s creative brand and a platform through which they combine entertainment with community and cultural expression.
The partnership with Six Degrees Africa is expected to further support that evolution, with organisers looking at ways to increase the scale and reach of the experience in future editions.
