Suspected yahoo boy nearly lynched over the death of his girlfriend

A young Nigerian man who is yet to be identified has reportedly been handed over to the police after he was accused of murdering his girlfriend, identified as Kate and burying her in his room.

The incident was said to have happened on Friday July 29th 2022 after the deceased was reported to have gone missing for days and the suspect denied having any knowledge about her whereabouts.

The family who suspected that the young man was not truthful to them confronted him on Friday morning and demanded that he provides the deceased whether she is dead or alive.

After they mounted intense pressure on him, he confessed to have murdered his girlfriend and buried her in a shallow grave he dug in his bedroom.

The suspect was beaten mercilessly by some residents and the relatives of the deceased before he was being handed over to the police for proper investigation.
