Residents Torch Church After Human Bones Discovered at Pastor’s Home in Old Abirem

Residents of Old Abirem in Ghana were thrown into shock and anger after human skeletal remains were reportedly discovered inside the residence of Pastor Emmanuel Kofi, leader of the Jesus Power ministry. The revelation prompted furious locals to set fire to the pastor’s church building in protest.

According to eyewitnesses, community members noticed suspicious activity and a foul odor coming from the pastor’s home. Upon investigation, they found human bones stored in one of the rooms. The gruesome discovery sparked outrage, with residents demanding answers and justice.

In a wave of spontaneous anger, some residents retaliated by torching the church building associated with the pastor. While the full extent of the damage remains under assessment, witnesses confirmed that the blaze caused significant destruction to the structure.

Authorities, including police and forensic teams, have since arrived on the scene to secure the area, collect evidence, and begin a detailed investigation. The pastor has yet to issue a statement regarding the discovery or the arson attack.

Local leaders and law enforcement officials have urged the public to remain calm, warning that vigilante actions could worsen the situation. Investigators are focusing on determining the origin of the skeletal remains and whether any criminal activity is involved.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting concerns about safety and trust in religious institutions, and underscores the critical need for thorough investigation and adherence to the rule of law.
