Paul Adom-Otchere Sues OSP Over Investigation

Journalist and former Ghana Airports Company Board Chairman, Paul Adom-Otchere, has filed a lawsuit against the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) following the agency’s decision to investigate his tenure at the company.
According to court documents, Adom-Otchere argues that the OSP’s actions violate his rights and proper legal procedure. He claims that the investigation lacks a solid basis and has requested the court to halt the probe until the matter is fully determined.
The lawsuit challenges what Adom-Otchere describes as procedural irregularities and possible overreach by the OSP. He insists that while he supports anti-corruption efforts, such investigations must be conducted fairly and within the bounds of the law.
The OSP has yet to make a public statement regarding the details of the investigation. However, the case has sparked public debate about accountability, due process, and the rights of individuals under scrutiny by state institutions.
Observers note that the outcome of this case could set an important precedent for how public officials and investigative agencies interact in matters of transparency and governance.
