One dead, several injured in a fatal accident at Nkawkaw

One person has been confirmed dead while many others are in critical condition after a Cargo Truck crashed a private Car on Nkawkaw-Abepotia stretch of the Accra to Kumasi Highway.

The injured victims have been rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw while the body of the deceased – the Cargo driver’s mate – has been deposited at the same hospital by the Police.

The accident happened Saturday, January 4, 2019.

Starr News has gathered that the private car carelessly attempted to make a U-turn on the Highway but crashed into the speeding Cargo truck with registration number AS 5561-14.

Police Personnel from Nkawkaw who rushed to the scene shortly after the accident have towed the accident Vehicles from the road.

Meanwhile, they have commenced an investigation into the accident.
