I’m joining full-time politics in 2024 – Yvonne Nelson

Ghanaian actress, model, film producer and entrepreneur, Yvonne Nelson has finally given a timeline on when she will fully delve into politics in 2024.

The actress who has said in the past that she’s still considering the political party to join when she’s ready-made this known when she spoke in an interview on Accra-based Joy FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com

To her, she will not relegate movies to the background but will do more of the production than acting.

She said the motivation to join politics informed her decision to read International Relations in order for her to have a clearer view of how things are done globally to influence decision making.

The mother of one said “I’m always going to be producing, that I known for a fact. I also, I want to maybe do politics in the near future so yes this is something to educate myself and prepare myself for the right time maybe 2024 when the time is right, I would go into politics fully”.

There seem to be a trend of movie actors and actresses joining politics fully and that can be seen in John Dumelo’s drive in the Ayawaso West Wugon Constituency.
