‘I talk now’ but ‘half of my body is paralysed’ – Moesha Buduong

There is an update on Moesha Buduong’s health.

According to a September 24, 2024, statement by nkonkonsa.com on their Instagram (IG), the popular social media figure spoke to them recently via a phone call.

“I went off completely and I was in bed for several months. I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t talk, and I couldn’t do anything. I thank God I am better now. As you can see, I talk now even though I am still struggling to speak properly. Half of my body is paralyzed now. One of my legs and one of my hands are not functioning. So I can’t type on the phone now; I can only talk on the phone,” Moesha was quoted as saying.

She reportedly added: “I know God will heal me, and I will become a global superstar.”

In January, Moesha’s brother Ebito set up a GoFundMe account with a target of US$10,000. In a description attached to the account, he confirmed the rumors that Moesha “recently experienced a life-altering stroke.”

Ebito said the stroke had immensely affected Moesha’s “mobility, speech, and overall quality of life.”

At publication time, after 113 donations, the ‘Donate to help Moesha Buduong’ GoFundMe account has raised $6,318 out of its $10,000 goal.

The cause of Moesha’s stroke is yet not revealed.
