How Nsumankwaafoɔ ‘stopped’ the rain at grand durbar, Asantehene held to honour King Mswati III

According to a report by graphic.com.gh, the Nsumankwaafoɔ of Asanteman stopped the rains from pouring at the Dwabrem at Manhyia Palace, where the durbar was held, which could have disrupted the celebration.
The report indicated that it rained heavily in surrounding areas, but there was no rain at the Manhyia Palace, leading to the belief that the Nsumankwaafie successfully prevented the rain from falling on the durbar grounds.
This allowed the durbar, which was graced by the Asantehene himself as well as all chiefs and queen mothers of Asanteman, to proceed smoothly.
It added that the Asante Nsumankwaafie, who are commonly referred to as ‘adurofuo’ (spiritual oracles), possess the extraordinary powers to stop rain from falling during important outdoor events attended by the Asantehene.
The people of the Asante Nsumankwaafie are led by the Nsumankwaahene, Baffour Asabre Kogyawoasu Ababio III.
