Ghana Highways Authority provide alternative routes as Cape Coast, Twifo Praso bridge caves in

The Ghana Highways Authority has provided alternative routes for motorists after the bridge between Cape Coast and Twifo Praso caved in after a heavy downpour.

MyNewsGh.com reported earlier that road users have been left stranded after the bridge between the Cape Coast and Twifo Praso road was washed away by a heavy downpour.

The incident left road users and residents in a state of shock because they never expected that such a bridge could be washed off by rain.

But in a statement, the Ghana Highways Authority said it will take the needed measures to ensure that the bridge is fixed.

Meanwhile, users of the said road according to the Ghana Highway Authority should use the Cape Coast – Yamoransa – Assin Fosu – Twifo Praso Road.
