FULL TEXT: NDC’s petition on Enough is Enough Demo presented to EC

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has successfully concluded a one-day national demonstration titled, Enough Is Enough Demo.

The demonstration, which was simultaneously held in all the other regions of the country, was to mount pressure on the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana regarding some anomalies and discrepancies the NDC had identified in the voters register for the 2024 polls.

After several attempts to get the EC to attend to their demands without success, the NDC took to the streets in protest.

Among the things they have requested is for an independent audit of the current register, seeing that the EC insists it has resolved the complaints brought by the NDC.

The leadership of the National Democratic Congress made stops at the Parliament House of Ghana and then at the head office of the Electoral Commission, where they presented their petition.
