Police invites Kumikasa over false report

The Eastern Region Media Excellence Awards Blogger of the year, Ransford Kumi of Kumikasa.com was yesterday invited by the Eastern Regional Criminal Investigation Department (CID) under the Ghana Police service over a recent publication made on two Koforidua based Kingdom FM presenters.

According to the publication from the early hours of Wednesday, August 15, 2018, the two presenters of the same institution, Kingdom FM, Atenz Burger and MP Nie were spotted in a social media verbal assault which he headlined ‘Confusion at Kingdom FM’.

The award-winning Blogger, Kumikasa later in the day deleted the published article from his site and wrote an unqualified apology to the management of Kingdom FM for his misleading headline which had nothing to do with the published article.

Meanwhile, ‘MP Nie’ allegedly reported the Blogger Kumikasa to the CID for defamation after his plea, claiming he mentioned nobody’s name in his social media posts as the blogger claimed he attacked a colleague presenter, Atenzburger verbally.

BestGhnews.online spotted a screenshot of a Facebook Private chat between the two presenters, ‘MP Nie’ and Atenz Burger which will be attached to this story for readers to judge.

Below is the unqualified apology by Ransford Kumi (Kumi Kasa) to Kingdom FM’s Management;
