A 49 years old-man, Adamu Tawiah who sodomized a 19-year-old JHS one student [name withheld] at Amanfrom [Peace Town] in the Ga South Municipality of Greater Accra Region has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.

His Lordship Justice Ebenezer Osei Darko, the Presiding Judge of the Awutu Ofaakor Circuit Court jailed the accused after he admitted to having unnatural carnal knowledge with the victim five times.

Adamu Tawiah was arrested last week after the mother of the victim filed a report with the Police over the criminal act.

The convict reportedly had been harassing the young boy for several years and finally succeeded in forcibly sleeping with him after he invited the victim to his room.

The convict after interrogation by the police admitted he had sex with the boy leading the police to arraign him before court.

An excited mother of the victim, Auntie Mauda told Kasapa FM News Yaw Boagyan that she is content with the judgment and it’s a clear indication that the law works in Ghana.
