Black Queens Receive $4,500 Each After Bonus Dispute

Ghana’s women’s national football team, the Black Queens, have finally received their long-awaited bonus payments following a recent standoff with the Ghana Football Association. Each player reportedly received $4,500, covering three match wins at $1,500 per victory.

The delay in payments had caused frustration among the players, highlighting challenges in bonus management and timely remuneration. The settlement has been welcomed as a step toward restoring trust between the team and the association.

While the payment is a positive development, some players remain cautious, stressing the need for consistent and timely recognition of their efforts. As the Black Queens prepare for upcoming matches, the team is focused on ensuring that such issues do not recur.
