Ahafo NADMO Director Appointed Dean of Regional Directors

The hardworking Regional Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in the Ahafo Region, Nana Adu Bonsu Gabriel, has been appointed as the new Dean of all Regional Directors of NADMO. He received this honour and responsibility during a National Disaster Management Training held in Accra, the capital city of Ghana.

Nana Adu Bonsu Gabriel’s appointment is a recognition of his dedication, commitment, and exceptional service to NADMO over the years. In accepting his new role, he pledged to provide effective leadership and set a clear strategic direction for all regional directors, ensuring that their collective efforts align with NADMO’s overall vision and mission.

The organisation’s vision is to build a disaster-resilient Ghana, while its mission focuses on managing disasters through coordinated resources from both governmental and non-governmental agencies. It also aims to develop the capacity of communities to respond effectively to emergencies and improve livelihoods through social mobilisation, employment generation, and poverty reduction initiatives.

Nana Adu Bonsu Gabriel expressed his appreciation to the Director-General of NADMO, Major (Rtd) Dr. Joseph Bikanyi Kuyon, for his outstanding leadership, commitment, and dedication to strengthening the institution. He also called on all sixteen regional directors across the country to offer their support and cooperation as they work collectively to achieve NADMO’s mission of ensuring a disaster-free Ghana.

NADMO staff across the country, particularly in the Ahafo Region, have congratulated Nana Adu Bonsu Gabriel on his new appointment. Many have described the honour as well-deserved, citing his humility, hard work, and leadership qualities as an inspiration to others within the organisation.
