The Upper East Regional Police Command has arrested six people in connection with the alleged murder of a tricycle rider at Dulugu-Zuarungu in the Upper East Region.
The suspects were arrested following investigations into the death of the rider, who was reportedly killed over allegations that he had failed to make enough sales from his work.
According to the police, the incident involved a commercial arrangement under which the victim was expected to generate a specified amount of money from operating the tricycle.
The failure to meet the expected sales reportedly resulted in a confrontation that eventually led to the rider’s death.
