Police officer shot and killed by armed robbers after bullion attack in Ablekuma
Police officer gun down by armed robbers at Ablekuma Star Oil petrol station during purported operation in the Greater Accra region.
Police officer identified as Amoah were shot and killed today 22nd June, 2023 after armed robbers attacked bullion van in Star Oil petrol station.
According to witness the police officer was escorting a bullion van, four armed robbers trapped them with weapons and the bullion van driver stopped at Star Oil petrol station.
The robbers took some cash in the van and run away.
Also, the driver of the van is no where to be found.
Police department has launched a case to investigate the issue.

POLICE ON MANHUNT FOR ROBBERS WHO ATTACKED A BULLION VAN AT ABLEKUMA IN ACCRA
The Police are on a manhunt to arrest a gang of four robbers who attacked a bullion van at Ablekuma Fanmilk, a suburb of Accra and shot the Police escort who has unfortunately passed on.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the family of our deceased colleague in particular and all personnel of the Police Service in general.
We wish to assure the public that we will surely get the robbers arrested to face justice.
