22 Assembly Members In Bosome Freho want DCE Dismissed

About twenty – two (22) Assembly Members in Bosome Freho constituencies of the Ashanti Region are calling for the removal of the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosome Freho, Hon. Yaw Danso to avert any disaster and confusion in the constituency.

According to them, tension is already boiling in the constituency due to the actions of the DCE and the government must not look on unconcerned as the situation can tarnish the unity in its quest to pursue the vision of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to “break the 8”.

They cited complete insubordination, sowing disunity and factionalism in Bosome Freho NPP and politicizing  resources meant for Assembly Members as grounds for his removal.

Speaking on Kumasi-based OTEC FM monitored by Ghanaweb.mobi, Assembly Member for Ampento Electoral Area, Hon. Antwi Boasiako Isaac stated that motorbikes which are supposed to be given to the assembly members have been kept at the District Assembly.
“Every four years the DCE brings different candidate to be elected as Member of Parliament (MP), during the Presiding Member elections the DCE brought his candidate but he got only 8 votes, so the DCE gave 7 motorbikes to the Assembly Members who voted for his candidate and kept the rest at the District Assembly” he bemoaned.

Adding that, the assembly cannot boast of any development under the Yaw Danso regime.

Antwi Boasiako indicated the Assembly has summoned the DCE to the PRCC Committee to answer 12 charges leveled against him.
