2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Dates announced for Super Eagles’ must-win fixtures against Rwanda, Zimbabwe

As the new Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle prepares for the upcoming crucial World Cup qualifiers next month, the dates for the two important fixtures have been announced.

The three-time African champions will resume their qualifiers campaign against Rwanda on Friday, March 21, at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali.

Nigeria will return home to take on the Warriors of Zimbabwe five days later at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

The 2023 AFCON finalists are yet to record a win in the qualifying series after five games.

The Super Eagles currently sit in 5th position in Group C with just three points.

Nigeria is four points behind leaders Benin Republic, South Africa, and Rwanda.
