Ghanaian actor and football administrator Yaw Dabo has succeeded in bringing Arsenal football agent Phil Antwi to Ghana to scout players for clubs in the United Kingdom.

The Arsenal agent arrived in Ghana from the UK on Wednesday, July 3 2024, at Kotoka International Airport.

Phil Antwi was given a warm reception by Yaw Dabo and his colleague actor Don Little.

Phil’s visit is primarily to scout promising football talents in Ghana for potential development in Europe.

Yaw Dabo, known for his soccer academy’s role in nurturing local talent, expressed confidence in the opportunities Phil’s visit could bring.

He highlighted Ghana’s track record of producing top footballers like Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey, who started their careers through similar scouting ventures.

Dabo has been passionate about his quest to become a football administrator and recently had engagements in Europe to create pathways for young Ghanaian footballers to reach professional levels.

Phil is known for his connections with European clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal.

He plans to watch matches in Accra and Kumasi and scout a few players for clubs abroad.
