Why Summoning Otto Addo is not a priority for the GFA

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) recently dissolved the Black Stars management committee, a move that has sparked a lot of debate in the football fraternity. One of the questions on everyone’s mind is whether the GFA will summon Otto Addo, the former head coach of the Black Stars, to explain the team’s poor performance in recent times.

However, summoning Otto Addo is not a priority for the GFA, and here’s why. Firstly, the dissolution of the management committee is a clear indication that the GFA is looking to start anew. Summoning Otto Addo would be a step backwards, and would only serve to reopen old wounds.

Secondly, Otto Addo is no longer the head coach of the Black Stars. He was relieved of his duties after the team’s poor performance in recent times. Summoning him now would be unnecessary, and would only serve to distract from the task at hand, which is to rebuild the team and restore Ghana’s pride in football.

Thirdly, the GFA has more pressing issues to attend to. The association needs to focus on finding a new head coach, rebuilding the team, and restoring the confidence of the fans. Summoning Otto Addo would only serve to divert attention away from these important tasks.

Finally, it’s worth noting that Otto Addo has already spoken out about his time as head coach of the Black Stars. He has acknowledged that the team’s performance was not up to par, and has taken responsibility for the team’s failures. Summoning him now would only serve to rehash old issues, and would not provide any new insights or solutions.

In conclusion, summoning Otto Addo is not a priority for the GFA. The association needs to focus on rebuilding the team, restoring the confidence of the fans, and finding a new head coach. The GFA should leave the past in the past and focus on the future.
