When you meet a partner out of your language

I met a man during a conference in the USA who made my three-day stay memorable. I will always be grateful for his companionship in an unfamiliar place.

We coincidentally sat on the same plane to Ghana, and from the previous engagement and what I encountered on the plane, the man is the true definition of a gentleman.

We exchanged numbers upon arrival in our home country, and this guy asked me on a date that evening.

I didn’t refuse it because I liked him and I felt I was already into him.

I arrived at the destination, I saw him, but he was with a group of friends.

From the interactions at the gathering, it became clear that his lifestyle is quite different from mine.

They discussed the places they had travelled to, and I realised I hadn’t experienced even a fraction of their level of luxury.

I have been rejecting his calls since the date and have seen messages where he’s proposing love to me and telling me how bad he wants to be with me.

I really like him, but I don’t know if I can date a man who seems out of my league.

Should I go ahead to pursue the relationship despite our different lifestyles?
