Actor LilWin and his wife, Maame Serwaa, were caught on camera in a viral social media video displaying affectionate behavior.
In the video shared by blogger Marigyata on Instagram, the actor is shown styling his wife’s hair in a room while she dances and enjoys Daddy Lumba’s hit single, ‘Mensei Da Harry’.
Internet users who saw the video playfully asked the couple to give the song a break, while a few others reminded LilWin to focus on his ongoing court case.
The actor was brought before the Asokore Mampong District Court and is currently facing charges of dangerous driving and negligently causing harm after being arrested on Monday, June 3, 2024.
The arrest and subsequent legal proceedings are related to an accident involving a vehicle he was driving, which unfortunately resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy.
He was granted a GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court.
The Presiding Judge, Justice Samuel Buabin Quansah, adjourned the case to July 29th, 2024, during the last hearing.
The case has been forwarded to the office of the Attorney-General for further review and advice.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased child has publicly stated that they will not consider any out-of-court settlements and are determined to see the law take its course.
