Watch Pius Hadzide washing clothes for constituents amid public backlash

Former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Pius Enam Hadzide, has been seen providing laundry services to his Asuogyaman constituents as part of his campaign for the 2024 general elections.

In a video shared by GhOne TV on X, Hadzide asked a female constituent to stop washing clothes and took over the task himself, leaving onlookers amazed.

This act surprised some members of the public, especially since Hadzide has faced significant backlash for his recent comments about helping constituents travel abroad.

Hadzide mentioned that he plans to use the 2026 World Cup as an opportunity to assist some constituents in traveling to the United States if he is re-elected as Member of Parliament.

The former deputy sports minister’s comments were met with strong criticism from individuals who believe there are more important issues he should address for his constituents rather than facilitating trips abroad.

Despite the criticisms, Hadzide remains unfazed and continues to focus on his campaign, seeking support ahead of the 2024 general elections.
