Watch nursing students ‘boogie’ to NDC campaign song as they receive their ‘allawa’

The video shared by SikaOfficial on his X account on April 4, 2025, showed a couple of student nurses at a nursing and midwifery training college shouting and running around in a frenzy after the allowance supposedly hit their accounts.

While waving their phones to the camera, they announced the news, as they run on the corridors of their dormitories.

Other students were also seen coming out of their dormitories, while also waving their phones in the air.

They could be heard shouting in excitement, “Allawa no aba oo”, while others dancing heartily.

The news was corroborated by Eric Adjei, CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), with a post on his Facebook wall.

“The promise to deliver on the unpaid training allowance for nurses fulfilled by Cassiel Ato Forson,” the post on April 4, 2025 stated.
