VIDEO: Tragedy strikes kumasi-krofrom as mobile money vendor is fatally shot by robbers

A devastating incident occurred at Kumasi-Krofrom in the Ashanti region of Ghana, leaving a community in shock and grief. A mobile money vendor was brutally attacked and killed by armed robbers in broad daylight.

 

Eyewitnesses reported that the victim, a mother of one, was shot twice at close range by the robbers, who made off with an undisclosed amount of money. The incident occurred shortly after the victim had withdrawn cash from ABSA Bank, which is located near her workplace.

 

According to eyewitnesses, the robbers, who were armed with guns, approached the victim and demanded that she hand over her money. When she refused, they shot her twice, leaving her in a pool of blood.

 

The victim was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where doctors confirmed her dead. The news of her death sent shockwaves through the community, with many residents expressing outrage and sadness at the senseless killing.

 

The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are urging anyone with information about the robbers to come forward. The community is also calling for increased security measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
