VIDEO: One dead in gory accident on Accra-Kumasi highway

One person has been reported dead in a gory accident which occurred between Osino and Anyinam on the Accra-Kumasi highway this dawn.

According to an eye witness, the accident occurred when a Hyundai truck with registration number AS 5123-19, heading towards Accra ran into another truck with registration number AW 3297 Z.

The driver of the Hyundai truck had attempted to overtake another truck with registration number AS 1214 F which was parked in the middle of the road due to a blasted tyre but was unsuccessful, resulting in a head-on collision with the oncoming truck.

The driver of the Hyundai who is yet to be identified died on the spot.
