Founder of Grace Divine Healing Ministry at Ekumfi Adansi in the Central Region, Grace Owusu Affenyi Mensah, has condemned the frantic desperation for prophecies.

This is because, according to her, such desperate attempts at looking for prophesies can bring curses.

According to the prophetess who is popularly known as Mama Grace, when people become desperate to receive prophecies from pastors, it leads to a fabrication of non-existent prophesies.

“Without prophecy, the church of God cannot stand but people should not be desperate for prophecies because such desperations force some pastors to lie and this may eventually bring curses on their lives,” she stated this in an interview with Adomonline.com.

She also cautioned against the manner in which prophecies are given because some prophecies are meant for groups while others are meant for individuals.

“Some prophecies can’t be made public because they are meant for individuals. A lot of the time, some people make their prophecies as show offs rather than service to the glory of God,” she noted.

Prophetess Grace was speaking in an exclusive interview with adomonline.com on the sidelines of the 21st Anniversary celebration of her church.

She used the opportunity to urge Ghanaians to desist from acts that do not glorify God while thanking God for how far He has brought the church she has founded, the Divine Healing Ministry .

“The battle has not been easy but through it all, the Lord has seen us through 21 years of successful ministry to him. We had faith that no condition is permanent and waited patiently on the Lord. So just know that God can deliver you from whatever situation you may be going through,” she said.
