Update on TG Omori’s kidney problem emerges, Davido’s role in the situation

TG Omori, a prominent music video director in Nigeria, has recently become the subject of significant discourse on Nigerian social media platforms.

The conversation ignited when images of TG Omori on a hospital bed surfaced, accompanied by his emotional statement, “I don’t want to die.”

Shortly thereafter, he revealed that he had received a kidney transplant, a generous gift from his only brother. Unfortunately, the situation deteriorated when it was reported that the transplanted kidney had failed, necessitating its removal by medical professionals.

In response to these distressing developments, numerous Nigerian celebrities have come together to show their support for TG Omori in various ways.

Notably, Nigerian music executive Babatunde Shosanya recounted a particularly touching incident: Afrobeats icon Davido was reportedly the first to learn of Omori’s dire circumstances. According to Babatunde, upon receiving the news, Davido promptly took action by offering a significant financial contribution of N10 million to assist the ailing director.

Babatunde expressed his gratitude to Davido in his post. This revelation comes shortly after Davido made a heartfelt appeal to his extensive follower base.

Just days prior, the Afrobeats star had utilized his X account to encourage his vast fanbase to unite in prayer for Omori’s rapid recovery, underscoring the seriousness of the situation and the necessity for collective support.

This public appeal not only highlighted the strong connection between the two influential figures in the industry but also showcased Davido’s steadfast dedication to supporting his colleagues during their most difficult moments.
