A men’s health and wellness coach known on X as @amerix has triggered conversations on social media after advising men to leave their partners as soon as they get pregnant.
@amerix urged men to stay away from their partners when they get pregnant. He added that although men can provide resources to help throughout a pregnancy, they should always keep a distance from the ladies.
According to @amerix, a man’s role is fulfilled when he gets a woman pregnant; the lady gets to keep the remaining portion of the work that needs to be done.
Telling men to grow up, he asked them if they witnessed their fathers obsessing over their moms during their pregnancies.
He wrote: Men, If she gets pregnant, Stay away from her.
You may offer resources to support her during pregnancy — but detach.
You have done your work, let her do hers. Did you ever see your FATHER hovering around your mother when she was pregnant? GROW UP!
The tweet received a range of responses from social media users
