Watch as Richard Ofori commits horrendous blunder in Amazulu’s defeat

Ofori completely missed the ball while attempting to punch a corner, allowing it to drop to an opposing player who slotted it into the empty net.

The goal conceded in the 29th minute proved costly as it turned out to be the winner, with AmaZulu suffering their fourth defeat in five games. The error was his second of the season, following his first against Kaizer Chiefs.

Meanwhile, the game marked his second consecutive start after being benched for three straight matches.

Ofori did not make any saves in the game and ended the match with a 6.4 rating from FotMob, having had a total of 28 touches — the fewest among all players.

Despite his errors, Richard Ofori has kept seven clean sheets in 17 games for AmaZulu this season.
