Wall collapse injures four including baby at Kasoa

Four individuals, including a 6-month-old baby, sustained injuries after the wall of a cemetery collapsed on them at Kasoa Zongo in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region on Monday.

The incident occurred following heavy rains.

The victims were seeking shelter under a shade at the market center near the cemetery when the cemetery wall, which reports indicate had been weak for some time, collapsed on them, injuring them in the process.

Two of the four, a 16-year-old boy and a 60-year-old woman who were severely injured, are receiving treatment at the Kasoa Polyclinic. The toddler and his mother, however, were treated and discharged.
