Obesere gives band member house as he marks 60th birthday

Fuji musician, Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has given a man a house in Ibadan, Oyo State, as part of philanthropic gesture to mark his 60th birthday.

Obesere presented the keys to the man during the party he organized to mark the birthday on Tuesday night.

Before presenting the keys, the singer said the beneficiary, who was among party guests, was not aware of the fortune he was about to come across.

He said he bought the house recently but was yet to paint it.

According to Obesere, he doesn’t build houses from scratch but buys completed buildings.

After several petty talks, Obesere finally called out the person, who happened to be a member of his band.

Guests at the party erupted in excitement as they rushed to congratulate the young man on becoming a home owner.
