APC party sidelines political elders over presidential position

Ashanti Regional Chairman for All People’s Congress APC Dr Kassim Ahmed Sisago has set the record straight that his political party if voted for into governance come 2020 general elections will ensure that all persons exceeding age sixty (60) are barred by law from holding any public position in the country.
APC according to the outspoken chairman will effect a quick and firm amendment of the law so that the elderly (60years and above) especially those of the political class  are restrained from occupying presidential seat and any other office.
He defended that most prevailing cases related to corruption are caused by the elders in politics; those falling within the age bracket in question.
“They are always sited over misappropriation and embezzlement of state funds. Our governing elders are soo much corrupt that the youth of our dear country have lost confidence in them”, he indicated.
Dr Kassim continued in an exclusive dialogue with this medium that should APC under the able leadership of Hon Hassan Ayariga govern the country, only the youth will be permitted by law to vie for and hold presidential positions since they (youth) have the idealistic elements to develop Ghana.
He expressed worry over why until now, most public offices are run by people who are physically weak  to man the affairs of the country when they should have retired to make room for fresh blood to take over.
