Soldier killed during an attack on a commercial bus

A military officer was killed along the Enugu-Makurdi highway at about 11.30 pm on Friday, August 7.

 

Sahara Reporters reports that the deceased officer whose name was given as Sergeant Bulama Aji, was serving at 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, Jos, Plateau State, when he was killed while traveling back to Jos.

 

The gunmen reportedly opened fire on Aji, who was dressed in mufti, after he identified himself as a soldier when the bus was stopped by the gunmen. He died on the spot.
