Two suspected robbers have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service following a hot pursuit over the alleged theft of about 30 goats at Sekyedumase.
The suspects were reportedly intercepted by police after they allegedly made away with the animals using a Voxy vehicle.
According to information surrounding the incident, the suspects are believed to have loaded the goats into the vehicle before setting off from the area. Their movements, however, reportedly attracted the attention of law-enforcement officers, who subsequently pursued the vehicle.
A police chase ensued as officers attempted to stop the vehicle and apprehend the occupants. The pursuit eventually ended with the police intercepting the Voxy and arresting the two suspects.
