Sickness awaits those who will try to rig the 2024 elections – Opambour warns EC

The founder of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa, also known as Opambour, has issued a stern warning to the officials of Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC) regarding the pending 2024 general elections.

He emphasized the importance of fairness and transparency in the EC’s duties to ensure the rightful candidate assumes office.

Opambour cautioned that any attempt to manipulate election results in favour of a particular political party would result in severe consequences, including illness.

Speaking on his Prophet 1 TV, Opambour urged the EC to ensure that the will of the Ghanaian people is accurately reflected in the election results to avoid negative repercussions.

“Those responsible for the elections must be very careful, or they will leave office with serious illnesses. They should let the will of the people prevail and avoid any wrongdoing. When we speak, the world hears, and God listens,” he said in Twi.

Opambour is a vocal supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

He believes Mahama is the right leader for the nation, especially given the hardships inflicted by the current government.

The general elections are scheduled for December 7, 2024.
