Seidu Links: Ofosu Ampofo to sue Wontumi over Range Rover allegations

The National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC),  Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampoh is readying himself  to sue vociferous New Patriotic Party  (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako alias  Chairman Wontumi over an allegation that he gifted a  Range Rover vehicle to allege Kidnapper Seidu Yakubu Mba.

Mr Alex Kwaku Asafo-Agyei, Deputy Ashanti Regional Communications officer of the NDC who dropped the hint, revealed that Chairman Wontumi must be compelled to substantiate the allegation or otherwise.

Chairman Wontumi last week alleged that Seidu Yakubu Mba who was arrested alongside other members of a group that kidnapped the two Canadian girls was a card-bearing member of the NDC thereby linking him to key figures in the party.

According to him, Seidu Mba has also served as a bodyguard to the Ex-President John Dramani Mahama and also played major roles in the NDC as a political party.

He insisted that the embattled National Chairman of the NDC is an acquaintance to the alleged kidnapper Seidu to the extent he bought him a Range Rover

Mr. Ofosu Ampoh has however not responded officially to the allegation by Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasaiko, the NPP Chairman of the Ashanti Region but some leading members and communicators of the NDC have come to debunk the claim.

Speaking on the issue on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Alex Kwaku Asafo-Agyei hinted that his Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampoh is preparing to sue Chairman Wontumi over his unsubstantiated allegations.

“I have spoken to Mr Ofosu Ampofo and sent all the audio to him as well. He is preparing to sue Chairman Wontomi in court”. Asafo Agyei revealed during a studio discussion.

According to him, it is untrue that his Chairman Ofosu Ampofo bought Seidu Mba a Range Rover car as claimed by Wontumi.
