See some 17 beautiful waterfalls found in the Volta Region of Ghana

Ghana has over the years become a beacon of tourism throughout the world, with millions of people trooping in all year round to see its beautiful forests, wildlife, and water sources.

The country boasts numerous picturesque views, enchanting sights, great music, beautiful people, indigenous tasty food, a safe environment, and top-notch hospitality, among others.

Some of these tourists troop into the country to satisfy their curiosities and to experience nature at its best.

One of such beautiful traits is the incredibly breathtaking waterfalls found especially in the Volta Region.

The Volta Region, whose most popular waterfall is the Wli Waterfall, has 16 more, which are equally beautiful, majestic and unique in their own ways.

7. Akpom Waterfall at Logba Tota, Afadzato South District
8. Aflabo Waterfall at Leklebi Agbesia, Afadzato South District
9. Tsizor Waterfall at Liati Soba, Afadzato South District
10. Tagbo Waterfall at Liati Wote- Afadzato South District
11. Dufin Waterfall at Logba community, Afadzato South District
12. Wli-Agumatsa Waterfalls, which consists of the Wli Lower Falls at Wli, Hohoe Municipal Assembly
13. The Great Wli Upper Falls also in Wli, Hohoe Municipality
14. Tsatsadu Waterfall at Alavanyo, Hohoe
15. Nyagbo Sroe Waterfall at Nyagbo Sroe, Afadzato South District
