SC nominees’ vetting postponed

The Appointments Committee of Parliament has rescheduled its scheduled vetting of President Nana Akufo-Addo’s Supreme Court nominees.

The initial hearing was billed for Monday, 20 August 2018 to Thursday, 23 August 2018.

It will now come off on Thursday, 23 August and Friday, 24 August.

A press statement signed by acting Director of Public Affairs in Parliament, Kate Addo on Friday, 17 August said the new schedule is as follows: Professor Nii Ashie Kotey and Justice Samuel K. Marful-Sau will appear before the committee on Thursday, 23 August 2018 while Justice Agnes Mercy Abla Dordsie and Nene O. Amegatcher will face the committee on Friday, 24 August 2018.
