Former Ghanaian international Prince Tagoe has received a special invitation from his former club, Ettifaq FC, to attend their upcoming home game against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia next month.

This gesture is not only a nod to Tagoe’s past contributions but also aligns with his new role as a scout for a prominent German football agency, where he represents the agency across Asia.

Tagoe’s connection with Ettifaq FC began in 2009 when he joined the Saudi Arabian club and made an immediate impact. During his two-year stint with Ettifaq, he was instrumental in their attacking lineup, notably excelling in the 2009 AFC Champions League.

Tagoe’s standout performance in the competition was marked by an impressive tally of eight goals in just six matches, underscoring his goal-scoring prowess.

His record against Al Nassr was particularly remarkable. Tagoe’s flair for finding the back of the net against the Riyadh-based club became a notable aspect of his tenure at Ettifaq.

His performances in these encounters left a lasting impression and contributed to his reputation as a key player during his time with the team.

The upcoming match between Ettifaq and Al Nassr will see Tagoe return to the club that he helped make memorable, this time from the stands rather than the pitch. His new role as a scout further highlights the ongoing relationship between Tagoe and the football world, bridging his past achievements with his current professional endeavors.
