VIDEO: Kwesi Arthur debuts inspirational single ‘Woara’ after BET experience

Fast-rising rapper, Kwesi Arthur, made Ghana proud after earning nomination in the 2018 BET Viewers’ Choice Best New International Act category. And while the laurel was picked ahead of Arthur by South Africa’s Sjava, the “Grind Day” man is still widely regarded a gallant winner and immensely inspiration.

A day after the life-changing event (held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, June 24), Arthur announces an inspirational new joint titled Woara (God Engineering). The compelling highlife number, sees him recount his miraculous journey from the doldrums and penury to redemption —while standing firm in his absolute dependence on God almighty.

Hailing from Tema (which is also home to modern greats as Sarkodie and R2Bees), Arthur is author of “Live From Nkrumah Krom”—the 5-track debut EP that garnered him his cult following and a taste of the mainstream. He’s also 2018 winner of the VGMA Hiphop Song of the Year category.
