Sammy Kuffour replaces Dua Adonteng on Normalization Committee – Reports

FIFA has begun steps to make changes to the component of the Normalization Committee in charge of Ghana Football administration and this will see current member Dua-Adonteng replaced as recommended by the President, Dr. Kofi Amoah, FOX Sports is reliably informed.

According to reliable information available to our sports desk, the president of the Normalization Committee (NC) petitioned the world football governing body to axe Lawyer Dua-Adonteng from the four-member committee due to his lack of support for most decisions of the NC.

The former board member of Ghana premier league side Asante Kotoko is further accused of being inactive on the committee and does not attend meetings regularly, an attitude which leaves the NC dragging in decision making.

FOX sports desk can confirm from deep throat sources close to the NC that FIFA has responded to Dr. Kofi Amoah’s request in affirmation and has assured changes to be made sooner than later on the committee comprising of Dr. Kofi Amoah as President with Lucy Quist (Mrs.) as vice, Naa Odofoley Nortey and Lawyer Dua-Adonteng as members.

In view of the changes, former Black Stars, Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffour has been penciled down by the NC to replace outgoing Dua-Adonteng as a member as FIFA prepares to extend the mandate of the NC beyond the initial 31st March 2019.

Moreover, Naa Odofoley Nortey’s future with the NC is reportedly hanging by thread as GNPC staffer Dr. Baah Nuakoh stands favourite to take over her position.
