SAD VIDEO: Drunk taxi driver allegedly caused accident, Yango rider’s leg cut off

A Yango rider suffered serious injuries after being struck by a taxi driver in a horrific accident on GIMPA Road on Saturday night.

A video taken moments after the accident shows the taxi driver visibly drunk and unaware of what had happened.

According to the narrator who recorded the video, the driver insisted on moving his car despite being drunk.

The Yango rider, however, had a broken leg and was bleeding, lying in the bushes.

To make matters worse, the drunk driver slipped and fell on the rider’s injured leg.

Eyewitnesses at the scene, outraged by the incident, attempted to assault the driver but were stopped by other bystanders who insisted on taking the injured rider to the hospital for immediate treatment.

The front of the taxi driver’s car was severely damaged, as was the motorcycle that was struck.
