Sad as police arrest seamstress for trying to use mother of 3 for RITUALS

Police in Eastern Region have confirmed the arrest of a 32-year-old seamstress who in concert with a supposed pastor attempted to use a mother of three for rituals.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), DSP Ebenezer Tetteh who confirmed the arrest of Humu Iddrisu to MyNewsGh.com, police are on a hunt for her accomplice who claims to be a pastor said to be on the run.

He disclosed that the victim in the case is one Esther Dzakah who is currently on admission at St Dominic’s hospital for treatment after a foiled attempts by the suspects to use her for rituals.

The police Chief revealed that the victim is reported to have consulted Humu Iddrisu to link her to a powerful man of God to help resolve her marital problems with the husband.

In view of this , on Thursday May 23, 2019 the suspect convinced the victim to pick her husband’s GH¢13,000 which is the amount required for them to part for the spiritual exercise to enable Esther win back the love of the man

Suspect Humu Iddrisu later managed to lure the victim to Seth Mensah’s guest house at Osenase to meet the supposed pastor for the spiritual help.

At 7pm, the suspect took the victim to an uncompleted building about 500 meters from the guest house and with the help of the so called pastor, forcibly gave her a concoction and as a result, she became weak.

Determined to carry on their diabolic agenda, they hit the victim’s head with a cement block rendering her unconscious.

In the victim’s account, the suspects thought she had died so the male suspect informed the other suspect he was bringing something out from the nearby bush.

While he was away, the victim   gained consciousness and struggled with the lady suspect and in the process both had severe bites on their cheeks before she was able to free herself and rushed to the guest house for help.

Managers of the facility called a police patrol them that proceeded to the scene and found the victim, Esther Dzakah with a deep cut on her left cheek and mouth, her right forefinger was also cut off.

The suspect who at the time was also still at the scene recovering from the pain of the bite inflicted on her by the victim as the only option of escaping captivity has since been arrested and is assisting the police in their investigations.
