President Akufo-Addo appoints new executives for GEPA

After relieving the Head of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) and her two deputies off their post, President Akufo-Addo has announced Afua Asabea Asare as the new Executive Secretary.

Madam Asare takes over from Gifty Klenam who was Chief Executive of the GEPA.

A statement from the Presidency said the new appointee must “indicate acceptance or otherwise of the appointment within 14 days of receipt of the letter.

Until her appointment, Madam Asare was the Special Advisor to the Business Development Minister.

In a separate letter from the Presidency, Albert Diwura and Sam Dentu have also been announced Deputy Executive Secretaries of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority.

Both have 14 days to accept their appointment.

Mr Albert Diwura was the New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2012 and 2016 Parliamentary candidate for the Damongo Constituency.
