President Akufo-Addo appoints Dindiok Kpemka as Deputy BOST MD

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Joseph Dindiok Kpemka, a former Deputy Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, as the Deputy Managing Director of the Bulk Energy Storage and Transportation Limited Company (BOST).

The appointment of the former Deputy Attorney was contained in a letter issued by the Executive Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante, to the Minister for Energy, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.

In the said letter, the Minister was directed to regularise the appointment of Dindiok Kpemka.

“The President of the Republic has nominated Mr. Joseph Dindiok Kpemka for appointment as Deputy Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (the ‘Company’).

“Attached is his curriculum vitae. Kindly take the necessary steps to regularise the said appointment in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 929) and the Constitution of the Company,” part of the letter reads.

Kpemka served as a one-time Member of Parliament for Tempane in the Upper East region after winning the 2016 parliamentary election.

It concluded, “Please accept the President’s best wishes.”

Joseph Dindiok Kpemka, born August 13, 1973, is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, representing the Tempane Constituency in the Upper East Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

He obtained a B.A. from the University of Ghana, as well as an LL.B and a Barrister at Law from the Ghana School of Law.

Joseph Dindiok Kpemka was an English Tutor at the Ghana Education Service from 2002 to 2005, a District Chief Executive between 2008 to 2009, and became a lawyer and lecturer at the Bolgatanga Technical University from 2009 to 2016.
