Police arrest 17-year-old boy for impregnating 10 women
Noble Uzuchi, who is 17 years old, and Chigozie Ogbonna, who is 29, have been arrested by the police. They are accused of working for a baby factory that pays N500,000 per baby born. The deal involves marathon sex with 10 girls who are pregnant.
Two women, Favour Bright, 30, and Peace Alikoi, 40, who was thought to be the leader of the group, were also arrested, and the 10 girls who were pregnant were saved.
The four suspects are said to have worked in the Rivers councils of Obio/Akpor and Ikwerre.
Grace Iringe-Koko, a spokeswoman for the State Police, said in a statement from Port Harcourt that the arrest was made because the command got a tip.
“On Saturday, January 7, 2023, around 4:45 p.m., C4I Intelligence Unit agents raided two homes in the Igwuruta and Omagwa communities where victims of child trafficking were being kept,” she said.
